Our mega star Amitabh Bachchan had said that “ earlier I could play the role of central charecters in the movie but now as the time is passing I can omly play the role of family head or something similar. Earlier I had done the roles which had suited my personality and now also I am doin those roles only which are suiting my present personality”.In the movie Aarakshan I am playing the role of principal who is very idealistic opposite to the role of Manoj Bajpai who thinks that by teaching private tutions we can make money.

This is the very good movie and Prakash Jha is touching a very social point in the movie of the caste based reservation in our education system in starting of course he was facing many problems but later all of it settled down.And of course the role played by the young actors is very amazing though I didn't converse much with Pratieik but yeah all these are very strong and highly talanted actors, adds Amitabh Bachchan.

I do not believe in caste system says Amitabh Bachchan

Amitabh Bachchan extends his condolence to families of Mumbai blast victims

Shehanshah of Bollywood the big Hearted Amitabh Bachchan has all of his as well as his family's sympathy and prayers for the sufferers and the family of sufferers of Mumbai Bomb Blast on Wednesday.Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan Said that “this was the dark night for our beautiful city Mumbai and a dark moment for our country. Blasts were done in the three most populated areas at the time of the highest traffic this three bomb's has destroyed the area completely by the improvised explosive devices, which has given deaths to many people and had injured hundreds of people”
“Many of our friends and relatives were sending us the message of their well being to us we have also inquired the well being of some of our relatives but our me and my family was having our heart and complete sympathy with the victims of bomb blast and their families” he said.“ once more time our city was the center point of these terrorist and had attacked our city and devastated it. But the voices should be raised for the responsible authority by us people.

This time also Mumbai will show its power to these terrorist and get back to work as early as possible. This time also our TV channels will show the complete country and will show that their TV channel is best because their channel is showing you the Tragedy and will keep showing it to you as if they are showing some party eve.At the time of bomb blast Amitabh Bachchan was in Delhi with his family as her daughter in law was to receive the great French award but after listening the news of bomb blast they postponed the event .

University of Lucknow says no to Amitabh Bacchan

As a part of promotion actor has to lecture students on the topic of job reservation but Lucknow University denied. Prakash Jha was planning to take Amitabh Bachchan to address students and teachers on the issue of job reservation to promote Aarakshan has been foiled, at least in Lucknow. It is known that Lucknow University has denied Amitabh Bacchan to speak on this issue.


Now Jha has received the negative answer from Lucknow University after that he is planning to arrange the question and answer session between Amitabh Bacchan and students of Uttar Pradesh. He planned this considering the fact that job reservation is a big problem in Uttar Pradesh. Apperently the Mayawati government in Uttar Pradesh is monitoring Jha's Aarakshan very closely. It is not yet fixed that Jha has taken a stand against or for job reservation in the film. The director says “they were scared”. Jha said “I am not getting what they are scared of . Earlier during the marketing of Rajneeti we were similarly barred on entering the institutions in Delhi to discuss the present day politics. We all now what they are scared of”.

Amitabh Bachchan apologises to his fans

Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan has recently apologised to his fans, who have gathered outside the residence of the legend at Juhu named as Jalsa. The new movie of the bollywood legend was released, although bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan get rave reviews for his performance in Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap, the film doesn't do well on the box office. The movie is not able to gain the appreciation of the audience. It gets the tough competition with the Aamir Khan production Delhi Belly. In the movie Amitabh Bachchan played the role of a angry old man, which all seems that big B is back in its well known genre action.

Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap, a bollywood legend starer Amitabh Bachchan is released today and its all set to give the tough competition to Dally Belly which also released today. Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan on Thursday visited several parts of Hyderabad to promote his film Bbuddah ... Hoga Terra Baap. The actor grabbed the opportunity to meet his old friend and Southern Megastar Chiranjivi during the special screening of Bbuddah Hoga Tera Baap.

The actor Amitabh Bachchan meet Chiranjeevi after a long time and commented that he feels joy and happiness while sitting in a theater in Hyderabad with the great Chiranjivi and watching BHTB.The film has Amitabh Bachchan in the lead and also stars Hema Malini. Hema Malini is perfect as the sober, subdued wife still in love with the husband she left long ago. About working with the veterans, Hema Malini says, working with Amitabh Bachchan was a wonderful experience.
